General House Rules
Dear guests,
In order to make your stay at the Hotel Breitenlee even more pleasant, we ask you to read the following house rules.
Access / key card
A key card is issued for each room upon check-in and returned to reception upon departure. A replacement fee of €10 is payable for lost or damaged key cards.
Arrival/departure
On the day of arrival, the rooms are available from 2 p.m. Please arrive by 8:00 p.m. at the latest, or by arrangement using a programmable key safe
in front of the hotel entrance.
In order to ensure a smooth transition between arrival and departure, we ask that you vacate your room by 11:00 a.m. at the latest on the day of departure. If you depart later, we will have to charge you for an additional day.
billing and payment

Payment is made in cash or by payment card (bank card, MasterCard, Visa). Foreign currencies are not accepted.
cancellation conditions
A hotel booking is a contract of sale. In the event of cancellation, late arrival or early departure, cancellation fees will apply! Any room reservation can be canceled free of charge up to 3 working days (Monday-Friday 11:00 a.m.) before arrival. In the event of a late cancellation, non-use of the booking and also in the event of early departure, we must invoice the total amount of the services booked but not used!
Room
The rooms are fully equipped with such as bed linen, towels, hair dryer, TV, etc. We ask you to take care of the entire inventory. When leaving the room, please close all windows (not even tilt them) and doors. Please note that our chambermaids only clean the rooms between 7:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.! If you want to have your hotel room neatly cleaned, it is necessary to allow the chambermaid access to your room by 11:00 a.m. at the latest!
breakfast
Breakfast is on the ground floor of the hotel from Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 9:00 am and Saturday to Sunday from 6:30 am to 9:30 am. Taking breakfast to your room or packing it up for later is strictly forbidden!
Smoking
The Hotel Breitenlee is a non-smoking hotel. It is forbidden to smoke in the rooms and any other area of the hotel. Cooking and lighting candles and other combustibles in the rooms is also prohibited. In the event of non-compliance, special cleaning costs of up to €200 will be charged. If a fire alarm is triggered, the responsible guest or travel group is responsible for the fire brigade and the associated costs of around €1200. These must be paid immediately!
The only exception is smoking on the balconies, where smoking is permitted until further notice. It should be noted, however, that the windows and balcony doors are closed to prevent the smoke from escaping
to let rooms come.
night rest
From 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. there is a night’s rest in all rooms, corridors and on the outside area. Failure to observe the night’s rest can lead to immediate eviction from the house. We expect respectful interaction with other guests and residents. After 10:00 p.m., out of consideration for other guests and neighbors, noise should be avoided when leaving and returning to the room.
visitor
Receiving visitors in the rooms is only permitted in exceptional cases and only with the consent of the management up to a maximum of 8 p.m. External guests who are in a guest room after 8 p.m. or even spend the night will be billed to the guest without comment.
Animals
Animals are strictly forbidden!
valuables
We expressly accept no liability for the loss of valuables (particularly jewelry and cash). The safekeeping of the cloakroom, technical devices brought along and the like is also exclusively the responsibility of the guest. Each room has a safe that can be used.
parking spot
The use of parking spaces is at your own risk. The Hotel Breitenlee is neither obliged to guard parking spaces nor to maintain its areas and other facilities in order to protect the vehicles from damage (e.g. nails, broken glass or potholes on the areas).
damage/dirt
If the building, inventory or other facilities are damaged or soiled, or if the key card is lost or the smoking ban is not observed, the damage caused must be compensated by the person who caused it. Compensation payments are to be made immediately (in the case of groups, accompanying persons, if necessary on behalf of the organizer, have to make advance payments). Theft and intentional damage to property will be reported immediately. In the event of violations of one or more of the above regulations, we are entitled to terminate the accommodation contract without notice at any time. The obligation of the guest to pay for the booked overnight stays remains.
escape routes/exits
Please comply with the fire protection regulations. The escape route plan is located on the room door in every room. Emergency exits, escape routes and fire extinguishers are marked with appropriate signs in the individual fire compartments. Stairs and corridors must always be kept clear as escape routes. The escape meeting point is in front of the house.
Internet
WLAN Internet is freely available throughout the hotel. The bandwidth is definitely intended for normal use!
When using the WLAN, the provisions of data protection and the protection of children and young people must be observed. Violations must be reported. In particular, the use of file sharing programs and illegal video streaming portals is prohibited.

Access to business premises
Entering the operating rooms is prohibited.
The Hotel Breitenlee is not liable for damage caused by disregarding the house rules, any other usage regulations or by not following the instructions of the staff, by other faults of the injured party or by unavoidable events or force majeure, in particular also by intervention by third parties. Contributory negligence leads to a corresponding distribution of damages.
Miscellaneous Changes to the General House Rules are possible at any time.
